Today, a new patch is coming for Fortnite. The servers will remain online for PS4, PC, Xbox One, and iOS. Around 10 AM, we expect a new patch, the content update 5.10. It is anticipated that the guided missile launcher will celebrate its return to Fortnite: Battle Royale as a “new old” weapon.
When does the server downtime start for Fortnite? It was actually planned for the servers in Fortnite to go offline at 10:00 AM. However, a tweet came out last night stating that the servers do not need to go offline and will just implement the patch.
The servers will therefore remain online, and the patch will simply come on Tuesday, July 31.
The patch will come at 10:00 AM our time, which is 4:00 AM EST or 8:00 AM GMT.
What does the new Fortnite update 5.10 bring?
What we know: We already know one thing. The update includes the return of the guided missile launcher. Fortnite communicated this via the in-game message. However, the guided missile will return significantly weakened. The missile was so powerful the first time that it disappeared from Fortnite after only two weeks.
When the guided missile “Guided Missile” returns, it will come with less damage. The weapon is intended to serve more as a reconnaissance missile.
Another item that has already circulated in the data is a sniper rifle that can shoot through walls. But that is probably planned for another patch. The weapon is likely meant to curb excessive building in Fortnite.

We currently know nothing further about the update. What Epic is planning for “Fortnite: Save the World” is still unclear. Generally, content updates are slim. Usually, there is just one new weapon, one new mode, and perhaps a hero for PvE.
We will get back to you as soon as we have more information about the update in Fortnite. This will be around 10:15 AM. Then the patch notes will be available.
