In Fortnite: Battle Royale, there are new challenges again in Season 5. Every week, you receive a new challenge and must complete 7 tasks. Here you can find all challenges of the weeks listed and how to solve them to level up in the Battle Pass.
This is how the challenges work in Season 5: Since Season 3, there have been weekly challenges in Fortnite. Therefore, in Season 5, a new package with 7 tasks comes into play every Thursday at 10:00 AM (unless something goes wrong). You then have the rest of the season to complete all the challenges.
More freedom for players
Do I need the Battle Pass? Unlike in previous seasons of Fortnite, you do not need to buy a Battle Pass specifically to be able to complete the challenges in Season 5. At least you do not need the Battle Pass for all challenges. Three tasks are always available for free. That includes two normal and one difficult task. You can thus unlock 2 tiers in the Pass.
Full reward only with Battle Pass: The remaining four tasks (two normal and two difficult) are still only available for Pass holders. If you have completed four tasks in one week, you receive a bonus of 5,000 experience points. Ideal for upgrading the legendary skins Drift and Ragnarok.
All weekly challenges from Season 5 of Fortnite at a glance
Here are all the weekly tasks: Here you can find a list of all previous weekly tasks from Fortnite: Battle Royale. Each time a new task comes, we will link it here. Under the links here, you will find a detailed page with tips and additional guides for the respective tasks.
- Week 1: Find Llamas, collect lightning, and treasure map from Risky Reels
- Week 2: Collect ammunition, throw baskets, and find treasure between Oasis and Rock Arch

Have fun with the remaining tasks. Often, it is wise to save tasks, as they can later be completed in combination with other challenges. For example, if you need to get kills with a sniper rifle in one week and deal damage with these weapons in a later week. Both tasks can then be completed together.
Don’t forget the Road Trip challenge!
Is there more? Indeed, the weekly tasks are also good for something else. Each time you complete a full week, a special title image is unlocked. There are hints for further treasures to be found on it. And when you have all seven, you will get the mysterious secret Road Trip skin from Season 5.
