In Fortnite: Battle Royale the new challenges from week 6 in season 6 have now started. We show you here how to complete the new challenges. This will earn you XP in the Battle Pass and secure you rewards.
You should shoot! This week, Epic places a lot of emphasis on dealing damage and taking out many opponents in the challenges. Therefore, there are fewer puzzles in week 6.
Trap Challenge: For one challenge, you need to unpack the new Ice Traps and place them on the battlefield.
Free and paid tasks: This week there are again 3 free tasks that anyone can solve. For the remaining 4 tasks, you need the paid Battle Pass, which you can purchase for €9.50.
All Challenges from Week 5 in Season 6
Challenge 1 – Place 3 Ice Traps in different matches
Frigid but easy: To complete this challenge, you simply need to place 3 Ice Traps on the battlefield. This doesn’t even have to happen in a single match. So the task should be easy to complete.
Challenge 2 – Search for a chest at different named locations (0/7)
Multiple Locations: For this task, you should visit different places in sequence and open chests there. So it shouldn’t be a big challenge for you.
Challenge 3 – Eliminate 3 opponents with the shotgun
Get the shotgun: With a shotgun, you need to eliminate 3 opponents. The weapon is particularly effective at close range. So reduce the distance to your opponent to take him out.
Challenge 4 – Land at Shifty Shafts (Battle Pass only)
Aim and Land: For this task, you simply need to land at different locations shown in the challenge.
Challenge 5 – Deal damage to opponents with pickaxes (Battle Pass only)
Melee Combat: For this challenge, you need to engage in close combat with opponents. This can happen right after landing in a fresh match when everyone is still searching for weapons. Or you can take down opponents who are already on the ground.
You need to deal 250 damage with the tool.
Challenge 6 – Find the sheet music in Pleasant Park (Battle Pass only, hard)

Challenge 7 – Eliminate opponents with a common weapon (Battle Pass only, hard)
Be aggressive: For this challenge, you need to take out opponents with a specific weapon type. Simply gather a weapon of the mentioned rarity type and eliminate other players with it. This task is also divided into multiple stages.
