In Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 1, you should visit EGO outposts in various missions. We will show you where these are located on the map.
What are these challenges? In the weekly missions of Season 11, you need to perform various tasks at the outposts – such as
- Visit 5 EGO outposts
- Search 7 chests at EGO outposts
You can combine these tasks to save some time.
How to identify EGO outposts? These locations are quite easy to recognize. They are military bases surrounded by a fence or sandbags. Sometimes, they are even larger buildings.
5 EGO Outposts – Locations on the Map
Where are these outposts located? There are several outposts spread across the entire map. However, they are not located at named places.
We will show you on the map where you can find an EGO outpost.
Locations on the Map:
1. EGO Outpost – Research Station
Where can you find the outpost? On the coast, west of Pleasant Park (Grid Square: C2), you will find the research station.
2. EGO Outpost – Base
Where can you find this outpost? Between Dirty Docks and Steamy Stacks (G3/H3), you will find the base.
3. EGO Outpost – Barracks
Where can you find the outpost? Between Frenzy Farm and Lazy Lake (Grid Square: F5), you will find the barracks.
4. EGO Outpost – Transmission Tower
Where can you find this outpost? Southwest of Misty Meadows (Grid Square: D8), you will find the transmission tower.
5. EGO Outpost – Hangar
Where is this outpost located? You can find the hangar southwest of Holly Hedges (Grid Square B5).
Search chests at EGO outposts
In another Hard Facts challenge, you also need to visit these outposts. However, you must search 7 chests to complete the mission.
Since many people will likely be looking for the chests at the beginning, you may need to complete the challenge over several matches.
To ensure that you can loot a chest, it is best to observe where a chest might be located as soon as you land, so you can go straight to it.
If you visit all 5 EGO outposts and search 7 chests there, you have completed 2 challenges, and you can focus on the next tasks.
