Fortnite: Battle Royale receives the first patch of Season 10.0 today. It will be released this afternoon and could bring some important changes to the game.
Update: Epic has now released the patch notes in English for Update 10.0.
When is Patch 10.0 coming? The first update for Season 10 will be rolled out today, August 6, 2019, at 2 PM our time.
Will there be downtime? Those worried about not being able to play for an hour or longer while the update is happening can rest assured. The developers plan to deploy the update without any server maintenance and therefore associated downtime.
Contents of Patch 10.0 – Automatic Sniper Rifle, Tilted Town and Mech Nerf
This could be included in the patch: Update 10.0 (not 10.1) could bring some significant innovations. The most likely ones are:
- A new weapon – the Automatic Sniper Rifle: The already leaked rifle is said to deal relatively low damage per hit, but it has a large magazine and can fire quickly at long distances. Possibly the ideal weapon to take out annoying mechs from afar.
- Mech Nerf: Since it seems that the entire Fortnite player base can’t stand the new mechs, the stomping battle machines will likely experience a nerf soon. Their health points might be reduced, or they could become less common.
- Tilted Town: After several datamining hints, it could be today that Neo Tilted will completely or partially transform into a western town called Tilted Town.
Additionally, there could be further minor map adjustments, as the developers promised to constantly change things on the Season 10 map.
Moreover, dataminers will likely have fun again extracting new weapons, skins, and game modes from the code that comes with the update.
What are your expectations for the new update? Let us know!
