Next week, the update 1.06 for For Honor will be released. This aims to further stabilize the game and bring new features.
Ubisoft has released another “This Week in For Honor” article, where the developers discuss the future and current status of the game. This time, the focus is on a new update, the update 1.06.
The end of the first faction war season brings patch 1.06
Next week, the first season of the Faction War in For Honor will end. The winning faction will be rewarded with some prizes, which we will report on. It is expected that the overall victory will be decided between the Vikings and the Samurai, as both have so far secured two round wins.
With the end of this season, on April 25th, the update 1.06 will be implemented. It will be released first on PC and a few days later on consoles.
Update: The update has been postponed indefinitely.
The patch 1.06 includes some interesting new features. It will now be faster to find new matches. The rematch timer will be reduced from 90 to 60 seconds and the “Join-In-Progress” feature will be introduced. However, this will be activated later. This feature allows free slots to be filled after a match ends when other players finish searching for a game. So far, matchmaking has been canceled when too many players leave this screen.
Furthermore, the network stability and performance will be improved, which is always welcome. In addition, some heroes will be adjusted: The Peacekeeper will have the “light attack” spam nerfed by increasing some cooldowns. The “Hurricane Blast” of the Orochi will be buffed. Also, Shugoki, Berserker, Warden, and Lawbringer will receive adjustments. You can find the complete patch notes on the Ubisoft page.
