For Honor will receive update 1.08 for PS4 and Xbox One today, June 9th. The servers will go down.
Last week, update 1.08 went live for PC. Today, Friday, the consoles PS4 and Xbox One will follow. This requires maintenance work.
- At 2 PM, the servers will be shut down. The expected downtime is 20 minutes, although past experiences have shown that the developers do not always adhere to these estimates. During this maintenance, update 1.08 for PS4 and Xbox One will be applied.

What changes today? – Patch Notes 1.08
The patch notes are the same as those for PC. The most significant new feature of update 1.08 is the penalties for rage quitters. This mechanic will only be implemented today and activated at a later date. The penalties are as follows:
- Before a player leaves the match early, they will receive a warn notice
- If they ignore this notice and leave the game, they can no longer start matchmaking for 10 minutes
- If the leader of a group leaves the game, all group members will receive the penalty
- In the first 30 seconds of a match, players can leave the game without fearing penalties in case of matchmaking issues. This 30-second window may still be adjusted by Ubisoft
- Penalties only apply to games started through matchmaking

Other new features of update 1.08:
- The maps will receive several bug fixes: For instance, there was a problem where the animation for climbing a ladder started before the ladder was reached
- In the commands, the Shinobi is now treated as an assassin and the Centurion as a hybrid class. Until now, these characters could not contribute to the respective missions.
- The bug fix for the Centurion and Shinobi ensures that they are now immune to breaches while rolling
- Additionally, some heroes will have their action lists adjusted to avoid confusion.
- All bug fixes and balance adjustments of update 1.08 can be found on the Ubisoft page.
