The open beta of For Honor starts in a few days. We look at some highlights and “Funny Moments” from the previous test phases.
Slowly the hot phase for For Honor begins. Already next week, on February 14th, Valentine’s Day, the release of Ubisoft’s close-combat action game is set. Those who can’t wait a week longer will get the chance to dive deeply into the war between samurais, vikings, and knights in just three days.
From February 9th to February 12th, all players on PS4, Xbox One, and PC can download and play an open beta for free. And the best part: No registration is required as was necessary for the closed beta. Everyone interested is invited.

What content is available in the open beta?
Who knows, the odd bug that can be seen in the embedded clips might have already been fixed in the open beta.
As in the closed beta, you can play with nine heroes again. At launch on February 14th, there will be twelve. These are the beta heroes:
- Vikings: Raider, Berserker, Warlord
- Samurai: Orochi, Kensei, Nobushi
- Knight: Conqueror, Warden, Peacekeeper
In addition, these game modes are available:
- Dominion: 4vs4
- Elimination: 4vs4
- Duel: 1vs1
- Brawl: 2vs2
New is the mode “Elimination”: In this mode, you engage in 4v4 battles in “Best of 5”. There is no respawn during a match.
