In For Honor we show you how to quickly level up your characters (fast leveling). With these tips, you can efficiently increase your Glory level.
If you want to get the best legendary weapons and armor pieces, there is no way around leveling your heroes. Because the loot you receive after matches and from item packages depends on character progress.
This means that your hero must first reach certain milestones before they can access higher quality loot. These “milestones” are tied to the Glory and level system.
How to level up in Glory
You increase your Glory by one level by surpassing character level 20. In total, there are 30 Glory levels with 20 levels each. How far your hero has progressed is displayed in the hero menu. The Glory level is outlined, and the level is indicated with a number below.
We have already dealt with Glory as a progress system here and with the legendary items available at certain levels here. You can find more information in the provided links.
To level up and thus increase your Glory, you need to collect experience points. How to quickly gain XP?
Tips for quick leveling in For Honor – Collecting XP
You gain experience points by participating in matches. After each match, you will see the XP you have earned, and even in defeats, you will leave with some experience gain.
- Victories provide more XP than defeats: The first “tip” is that you should perform strongly in matches and win as often as possible. In a duel mode loss, you might receive about 155 XP, while a victory gives you over 200 XP. So it’s worth learning the nuances of the fighters and improving your skills.
- Commands: In the multiplayer overview, you can access the commands. Here you will find two daily commands that provide 300 extra experience points each. You have one day to complete these. Additionally, there are contract commands that are also time-limited. Here, you will find tasks that can provide up to 1500 XP. They are tied to specific game modes.
- Discuss which commands you will pursue: If you play together with your friends in a group, you should agree beforehand on which commands you want to complete. You can pursue a maximum of three contract commands at the same time. To efficiently complete these, you should discuss and possibly make a plan.

- Champion Status: The Champion Status offers you several benefits, including a +25% XP boost. It is the best way to accelerate leveling. You can purchase it with steel. For example, 3 days of Champion Status costs 2000 steel. Additionally, you get benefits if all members in your group have the Champion Status active: per person you receive an extra +10% XP boost. If all group members have the Champion Status, your experience gain increases by a hefty 55%.
- Champion Status without steel: If you own the Deluxe Package, you will receive the Champion Status directly for 7 days. Otherwise, as an “Amazon Prime” customer, you have until March 6th to link your Amazon account with your Twitch account and Ubisoft account. This way, you can receive some rewards, including 10 days of Champion Status.
- The faster you finish your matches, the faster you will gain experience points. In the Dominion mode, you earn significantly more points than, for example, after a duel, but this usually takes longer. Therefore, practice with your group until you are a well-coordinated team. This way, you can complete Dominion matches successfully in a shorter amount of time.
