You play as Stella, a ferryman of the deceased. Your task is to build and manage a boat that goes on great adventures.
Various spirits accompany you as passengers, and you get to know their stories. Gradually, you befriend them and take care of them. However, it also means saying goodbye and letting them pass on to the afterlife once they are ready.
Besides your job as a ferryman, you have numerous activities: you can cultivate fields, go fishing, or cook. Additionally, you can gather resources to improve the boat or give small gifts to your companions.
The Spiritfarer: Farewell Edition features a co-op mode where up to 2 players can experience the adventure together. One plays as the cat Daffodil.
