Starting from July 26, the crossover event between Final Fantasy XIV and Yo-kai Watch brings mounts, weapons, and companions.
We already reported on this two months ago: What is Yo-Kai Watch? FF XIV collaborates with them. Now it’s happening: The event runs for 2 months starting July 26. There are 13 pets, 13 weapons, and 1 mount to collect.
You start in Ul’dah at the Nald Crossroad (X:9.2, Y:9.1) at level 15. You will receive a Yo-kai Medallium to collect corresponding medals in FATEs. These can be exchanged in the Gold Saucer (X:5.2 Y:6.9) for companions. Once you have collected them all, you will receive a mount with the Whisper Gondola.
To obtain the weapons, you first need the corresponding companion. For example, Jibanyan for the Paladin. With this pet, you complete certain FATEs and earn legendary medals that you can exchange again. The Yo-kai Medallium will inform you which FATEs you need to complete.
