In the latest trailer for the MMO Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, Square Enix presents the upcoming Update 2.5 “Before the Fall” in detail.
On January 20, the finale of Final Fantasy XIV will kick off with Before the Fall. This includes a lot of new content. With “Guardian of the Lake”, “Palace of the Wanderer” and “Ruins of Amdapor”, among others, three new dungeons will be introduced in the game. Additionally, the Crystal Tower raid will conclude with “The World of Darkness”.
Due to the extensive scope, “Before the Fall” represents a split update. Part 2, featuring the “Battle of Ishgard”, is scheduled for release at the end of March. Moreover, the current trailer offers glimpses of the content for Patch 2.51, which is set to come to the servers in February: With the mini-game paradise “Gold Saucer” and the popular Chocobo races, players can soon look forward to true cult adventures from the Final Fantasy series.
Have fun with the extensive trailer for the update. Fans of the MMO are calling it an “epic video” that gives them goosebumps. Before the Fall lays the groundwork for the first major expansion Heavensward in spring.
