Final Fantasy XIV brings the final update of the current expansion Heavensward with patch 3.57. The main feature of the update is to prepare you optimally for the next addon Stormblood.
In Final Fantasy 14, the new expansion Stormblood is imminent. It starts on June 20 and your heroes can advance into the new region of Ala Mhigo to fight against Zenos yae Galvus and his minions.
But before it starts, you should optimally prepare your heroes and get the best items and weapons from the current Heavensward expansion. And the recently released patch 3.57 will help you with that!
FF14 – Patch 3.57 – More Loot, Less Grind
Groundbreaking innovations do not come with patch 3.57; these are reserved for Stormblood. However, what comes with the last patch from version 3: Improvements for the existing content. No one wants to grind through the old stuff after the upcoming release of the new expansion, so the developers at Square Enix have lifted some restrictions and adjusted the numbers for loot and crafting:
- Weekly limits for tokens and loot for the instance Dun Scaith have been lifted
- All items required for crafting Anima weapons are now easier to obtain
- The weekly restriction for “alexandrian gears” from “Alexander – the Creator’s Soul” has been lifted.
- In the epic version of “Alexander – The Creator”, the effect of the power of Transcendence has been enhanced.
- You can now play the contents “Hero’s Song of Thordan’s Fall”, “Zenith of the Gods – Sephirot”, “The Song of Nidhogg’s Last Call” and “Zenith of the Gods – Sophia” via the Duty Finder instead of the Raid Search
With these changes, you should be able to obtain any missing items in Final Fantasy 14 faster and thus be optimally equipped for Stormblood.
