The Pre-Season Event is now live and you can secure rewards for FIFA 21 as well as FIFA 22. We present the new content to you.
This is the Pre-Season Event: In the Pre-Season Promo in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team, FUT players have the opportunity to secure rewards for FUT 21 and even FUT 22. Additionally, a whole bunch of special cards will be available in the FUT 21 packs. But is the grind for FIFA 22 worth it?
What does the Pre-Season bring for FIFA 22? Among the rewards that players can already earn for FIFA 22 Ultimate Team in the first Pre-Season week are:
Two FUT 22 coin boosts (5 matches x 1,000 coins)
A FUT 22 starter pack with these contents:
- 5 Chemistry Styles (guaranteed 1 Shadow/Hunter)
- 5 rare Gold player contracts
- 1 FUT 21 kit choice (Choose from El Chavo, Venice Beach FC, Alive & Kicking, FUT Future Stars kits)
- Gold player pack
A FUT 22 “A League of Its Own” pack with these contents:
- 3-Gold Bundesliga player pack (1 rare)
- 3-Gold La Liga player pack (1 rare)
- 3-Gold Ligue 1 player pack (1 rare)
- 3-Gold Premier League player pack (1 rare)
- 3-Gold Serie A player pack (1 rare)
You can earn these rewards by completing SBCs (Squad Building Challenges) and selected tasks.
Are the rewards for FIFA 22 worth it? You can’t secure really strong cards or items for FIFA 22 through the Pre-Season Promo. However, the packs, coin boosts, and chemistry styles can be particularly interesting for FUT players who want to have a perfect start in FUT 22.
What rewards await for FIFA 22 next week is still unknown.

The Pre-Season contents for FIFA 21: In addition to the first rewards for FUT 22, the Pre-Season mainly brings back particularly strong cards into the game. Now, once again, 100 absolute top cards (via EA) are available in packs. Among them are:
