In FIFA 20 there were increased connection issues this weekend. However, you can make up for the lost time in the Weekend League.
Until when does the Weekend League last? Normally, the Weekend League runs until Sunday night. However, this weekend there will be an extension due to the increased server problems. EA announced this via Twitter:
You will have all of Monday to complete your games and fight for Weekend League rewards.
FIFA 20 is experiencing server issues again
Weekend struggles with connection: The first server issues occurred on Saturday evening. After several players struggled with the connection, EA Sports temporarily disabled matchmaking to prevent game disconnects.
During the night into Sunday, it was reactivated. At that point, it was already decided that the Weekend League would run for an additional day.
However, that was not the last disconnection this weekend. There were issues again on Sunday morning, and matchmaking was disabled once more.
Update 11:48 AM: The servers in FIFA 20 are back online, matches are possible again.
Problems are increasing: Already on the previous Thursday evening, there were problems with the servers that made playing impossible. This was a widespread outage affecting multiple games and services from EA.
