In FIFA 20, there is hardly a week that goes by without new special cards. Today we are expecting new top cards for the Future Stars. We will show you which young talents are included and how strong their new cards are.
What are Future Stars? As the name suggests, Future Stars are young players who have the potential to become world stars. EA grants these players significantly improved special cards.
How strong are the cards? The Future Stars are among the strongest cards in the game; they receive extreme upgrades compared to their regular cards in the game. Ratings above 90 are not uncommon.
When does the event start? The cards will be available starting today, January 31 at 7:00 PM, in FIFA 20 Ultimate Team.
This time it’s new: For the first time this year, there will be “upgradeable objective players.” You can improve these players yourself by completing various tasks.
The first Future Stars team
This is the first team: As has been customary lately, this promo is also released with two different teams. The first team, which is released today, includes some really strong cards. These include: Joao Felix (92), Rodrygo (91), and Tonali (91).
Furthermore, FUT players with Bundesliga teams can look forward to Kabak (88), as strong Bundesliga center-backs have been somewhat scarce.

How the event unfolds – SBCs, Packs, and Weekly Objectives
Players in packs: The first 14 Future Stars will be available in packs at 7 PM to be found in packs. The likelihood should be exactly the same as for the normal player cards. Thus, some of the super talents could even be pulled from silver packs.
There will also be various promo packs and Lightning Rounds for the event.
More SBC players: Throughout the event, there will likely be more special cards that you can unlock through Squad Building Challenges. To qualify as a “Future Star,” there are currently only two criteria:
- The player must be at most 23 years old
- The player must not already be an established star
