In FIFA 20, the first Icon ratings for all new icons are known. The icons Zidane, Koeman, Wright, Guardiola and many more will be this strong in FUT 20, in Ultimate Team.
These ratings Zidane has in FIFA 20: EA Sports announced today, on September 3rd, the values of all new icons – led by Zinédine Zidane – who graces the cover of the Ultimate Edition. In addition, EA released a short video focusing on Zidane’s ratings:
- Weak Performance: 91 Overall Rating (CM)
- Average Performance: 94 Overall Rating (CAM)
- Top Performance: 96 Overall Rating (CAM)
You can see all stats of Zidane here:
Especially the 96-rated card is fantastic and better in all individual stats than the other two. Shooting, passing and dribbling stand out, but the other stats are also solid. This makes Zidane a CAM who can improve many ultimate teams.
Why does Zidane have three cards? Icons have multiple variants in FUT. This applies not only to Zidane but also to all other icons. These cards are meant to reflect different phases in the careers of former professionals. In the upper image, you can see which phases the respective cards represent (Zidane’s top card represents the years 1996-98).
Who is Zidane anyway? The Frenchman was regarded as one of the most talented players of all time and was named FIFA World Player of the Year three times before he ended his active playing career in 2006 and is now achieving great success as a coach.
