These are Division Rivals in FIFA 20 Ultimate Team: In FUT 20, Division Rivals is an important online mode where you can compete against other players, earn weekly rewards, and qualify for the FUT Champions Weekend League – where the best prizes in FUT 20 await.
- In Division Rivals, there are 10 skill-based divisions. The better you play and the more skill points you earn, the higher divisions you reach. In higher divisions, there are better rewards.
- Each division consists of 5 ranks. Play matches weekly to earn rank points. Rank up to claim better rewards.
- After each week, there is a fresh start and a renewed fight for rewards. Ranks are reset.
- You can play an unlimited number of matches per week in Division Rivals.
- It is a purely online mode against other players. Since you compete against players in the same division, skill levels should be relatively close.
- You play for skill points, weekly rank points, and FUT Champions points. These will be explained at the end of the article.
When do the rewards come? – Time and Day
Start and duration of a Division Rivals week: Every Thursday is Division Rivals day in FIFA 20. The start time is at 8:55 AM, and the end of a competition is the following Thursday at 8:45 AM. Ten minutes later, the new week begins.
When are the rewards available? Your weekly rewards in Division Rivals arrive on Thursdays at 8:55 AM (summer time). Keep in mind that there can sometimes be delays.
Is there a choice for the rewards? Partially. In most ranks, you can choose from 3 rewards, some of which are untradeable.

What prizes are there in Division Rivals? You always receive the rewards from the division you started in during the week. If you rank up in a division within a competitive phase, this applies to the prizes only the following week.

Information on Skill Points in Division Rivals in FIFA 20 Ultimate Team
What you need to know about Skill Points: Compared to FIFA 19, the skill rating thresholds for the divisions in FIFA 20 Ultimate Team have been adjusted. In this graphic, you can see how many skill points you need for the respective divisions in Division Rivals:
This is how you increase your skill rating: After each match you win, you earn skill points. These depend on several factors. In a draw, you can gain or lose a few points, and in a loss, skill points are deducted.
Your skill rating and division are not reset weekly, but the rank is.
These are Ranks in Division Rivals
What do the ranks signify? You have 5 ranks in each division. The number of points you need for each rank changes throughout the week. You can also demote ranks if you are inactive. Because:
- Rank 1: 15% of players in competition
- Rank 2: 40% of players in competition
- Rank 3: 80% of players in competition
- Rank 4: 97% of players in competition
- Rank 5: 100% of players in competition
How many points for Rank 1? The number of points you need depends on your competition. There is no fixed limit.
Victories yield more weekly points: The more decisively you win, the more points you earn. Draws or losses yield less. Ideally, score 5 goals to earn the most points. More than 5 goals yield no additional points.
What are FUT Champions Points?
You need FUT Champions Points for this: If you collect 2000 FUT Champions Points, you gain access to the Weekend League. Through this weekly, limited-time competition, you can earn the best rewards:
How do I get the points? Either through matches in the Weekend League or through the weekly rewards of Division Rivals. Additionally, every Division Rivals match gives extra points.
How many points do I receive per match? A victory in Division Rivals grants you 20 FUT Champions Points – multiplied by these point multipliers, which are division-dependent:
- Division 10: 1.0
- Division 9: 1.2
- Division 8: 1.5
- Division 7: 2.0
- Division 6: 2.5
- Division 5: 3.2
- Division 4: 4.0
- Division 3: 6.2
- Division 2: 12.5
- Division 1: 25.0
This means that if you win a match in Division 4, you will earn 80 points (because: 20 x 4.0).
