The cards demand quite hefty prices, but at the same time offer extremely strong ratings. Here you will find what is currently the strongest Bundesliga team that can be built in Ultimate Team. We also show you a team that you can use as a good foundation for a Bundesliga team.
Bundesliga team with the best rating
These players are in the team: When looking at the currently strongest team in the Bundesliga, it becomes clear that the special cards have made a significant impression here. The team includes only players that you can still get. However, it is not cheap – it will cost you more than 4 million coins according to the current status.
These are the best forwards: The attack in the best Bundesliga team consists of Headliners-Lewandowski and POTM-Werner. Both are extremely dangerous in front of goal, with Werner especially excelling in speed and Lewandowski with an insane finish and a lot of physicality.
The Bayern forward’s card is likely to improve over the season due to the Headliners status. And POTM-Werner could also be in line for an upgrade. However, you can only get him until mid-February – then you would have to switch to Headliner-Werner.
These are the best midfielders: Even in midfield, there are cards that have not yet reached their full potential. Reus’ Headliner card gets stronger with every Inform card – and as soon as BVB wins four matches in a row.
Sancho and Goretzka get stronger with every round of the Champions League. And OTW-Coutinho also earns points when he lands in the TOTW. Here, there are a lot of rating points to come, making the cards already really strong.
These are the best defenders: The defense of the Bundesliga can also be seen now. Left back is the only non-special card in the team: David Alaba. Joining him are Future-Stars-Kabak and Story-Akanji, whom you can still obtain until the end of the season through season progress. And you should definitely do that, because Akanji is an extremely strong defender that you can grab for free.
Additionally, there is TOTY-nominated-Kimmich. If you have secured Futmas-Roussillon, Moments-Davies or Europa-League-Mbabu, they are also good options. They are missing here because you can no longer get them.
This is the best goalkeeper: Manuel Neuer is in goal with his TOTW card. However, Neuer also has a Flashback card that you unfortunately cannot get on the market. But if you have completed the SBC, you should definitely use him.

The alternative: Instead of investing your coins in individual special cards, it can be worthwhile to spread your budget. Here you will find a team where no player costs more than 20,000 coins – rather significantly less.
The following team will cost you about 120,000 coins in total, but gives you a solid foundation to work your way up through the leagues and improve it.
This is the attack: With Müller and Werner, you have two reliable attackers who will score their share of goals. The next upgrade would already be Robert Lewandowski for about 40,000 coins.
This is the midfield: Sancho may not be as strong as his RTTF card, but he still has 5-star skills and impresses with speed. Coutinho on the other side is technically skilled. In the middle, you have good all-rounders with Witsel and Brandt who cost less than Goretzka and Reus.
This is the defense: The defense is very similar to the top team. Both Alaba and Akanji remain, Kimmich only loses one skill point. The only budget-related dropout is Kabak, but you can easily replace him with Süle.
This is the goalkeeper: Even the standard card of Manuel Neuer already costs 32,000 coins, which is why he is out here. But with Bürki or Gulacsi, you have good, affordable alternatives in the Bundesliga.
