Ratings Refresh for the Serie A: The winter upgrades in FUT 19 are entering their third round. Today, on February 19th, EA Sports released the next ratings refresh batch. This time, it’s the Serie A’s turn.
The best Serie A winter upgrades: Two players stand out with top ratings: Chiellini with 90 and Koulibaly with 88. Both are center-backs in the Serie A.

Information on the winter upgrades in Ultimate Team
These are winter upgrades: As the standard cards in FUT 19 have remained unchanged since release, many players have shown better performances in recent months than before, the winter upgrades upgrade the standard cards of many players.
After this “ratings refresh,” only the new, updated cards of the respective players can be found in the sets.

How to get the Serie A winter upgrades
New cards replace old ones in packs: Once the winter upgrade cards are released, they can be drawn in the sets. The only requirement is that the set can contain players. The “old” cards of the respective players will no longer be found in the sets from that moment on.
What happens to my old card? If you already own a card of a player who is being upgraded, this remains unchanged. It will not be automatically updated. If you want the player’s card with improved attributes, you must draw it from a set.
It is also possible to purchase the winter upgrade cards from other players on the transfer market.
In other words: After the ratings refresh, two versions of standard cards for the respective player coexist in FUT.
What happens to the existing IFs? They also receive an upgrade when the new standard card surpasses the previous IF card in rating or has the same rating. You can read here how the Inform cards behave in the winter upgrades.
