Today marks the start of the big Winter Refresh event in Ultimate Team for FIFA 19. EA Sports has now unveiled all the Winter Upgrades, Winter OTW cards (SIB players), and Prime Icon Moments that you can grab.
This is Winter Refresh in FUT 19: Today, on February 15, a new event in Ultimate Team mode goes live. This is called Winter Refresh and comes with a lot of new content:
- Prime Icon Moments cards – these will be new top icons
- the Winter Ones-to-Watch
- the Winter Upgrades, the “Ratings Refresh”.
The release time: Today, on February 15 at 7 PM, the first deliveries of the new cards will be available in packs. Additionally, special SBCs and thematic daily and weekly tasks are live. The event runs until February 24.
All cards of the Winter Upgrades in FUT 19 – Premier League
These are Winter Upgrades: Since the standard cards in FUT 19 have remained unchanged since the release, many players have shown better performances in recent months than before, the Winter Upgrades will enhance the standard cards of many players.
After this “Ratings Refresh,” only the new, updated cards of the respective players will be found in the sets.

The Winter OTW – the Ones to Watch (SIB)
These are Winter OTW: These are dynamic cards that feature “Stars in the Spotlight (SIB). Each time an OTW player receives a TOTW card or another special card during FUT 19, their OTW card is automatically adjusted to this card and remains at the higher rating. Now, in winter, more “Stars in the Spotlight” are coming.
This means: The better the player performs in real football (and receives a special card from EA Sports), the better your OTW card will be throughout the season. It will receive a form boost that matches the latest values.

All Prime Icon Moments in Ultimate Team
These are Prime Icon Moments: Prime Icons have so far been the best versions of Icons. With the Prime Icon Moments, even better versions of selected legends come to FUT 19. With these, EA aims to celebrate heroic moments of the Icons.
The Prime Icon Moments cards: This is the first batch of Prime Icon Moments that are now available in packs:
A German is included: Matthäus receives a strong 94-rated card. You can find the previous Icons here.
During the Winter Refresh, additional Prime Icon Moments will arrive. By the end of FUT 19, there should also gradually be more of these top Icons.
On February 22, new Prime Icon Moments came – featuring Pelé and Maradona!
