For FIFA 19, Update 1.14 has now been released. It is already available today on May 1st for the consoles PlayStation 4 (PS4) and Xbox One and brings technical improvements. We look at the patch notes: What does the update change and how big is it?
The update is live: The update has been online since April 30th and can be downloaded. Unusually, the update did not, as usual, come out first for PC players.
This update is available on all platforms simultaneously. Therefore, PlayStation and Xbox players also have to download it to utilize the online content of FIFA.
This is the size of the update: Considering that the changes of this update are quite modest, the patch has a considerable size: 1.5 GB must be downloaded.
These are the patch notes for Update 1.14
This issue is being fixed:
- A problem with the telemetry special tool used to investigate gameplay reactivity.
- You can find more information about the tool in the latest notes post on gameplay reactivity at: https://www.ea.com/de/games/fifa/fifa-19/news/fifa-19-pitch-notes-april-update
This is the telemetry special tool: With the help of this tool, EA gathers feedback from FIFA players. However, not all FIFA players are surveyed, only EA’s Gamechangers, meaning FIFA professionals, YouTubers, and streamers can utilize the telemetry special tool.
How the tool works: At the end of a round of FIFA, the telemetry tool appears for the selected FIFA players and questions them about gameplay problems during the last match.
