The TOTS event in FIFA 19 starts today and the first team is now known. See here which players the fans have voted for in the Community Team.
It’s finally starting today, May 10th, the TOTS event in FUT 19 will last for seven weeks, until June 28th, with numerous new cards, weekly challenges, and SBCs.
The first highlight is the Community Team with which the event starts.
What is the Community Team? The players for this team were chosen by the community itself. Until May 6th, votes could be cast on futwiz.com and futhead.com . Players from all leagues who have shown outstanding performances in the 2018/2019 season but never made it into a Team of the Week were available for selection.
TOTS Moments: This year EA introduces the new TOTS Moments cards. These cards celebrate special moments of current players who receive a significantly upgraded special card. The cards can be unlocked through SBCs. It starts with Odegaard (85).
The TOTS Community Team
The strongest players in the Community Team: The highest overall ratings are Ibrahimovic (95), Ter Stegen (93), Sergio Busquets (93), Thiago, and Alex Telles (93).
These Bundesliga players are included: From the Bundesliga, Thiago (93), Süle (90), Roussillon (87), and Haller (89) made it into the Community Team.

This card packs a punch: The Community Team has some really strong cards, but Zlatan Ibrahimovic clearly has the strongest.
The Flashback card of Zlatan Ibrahimovic previously caused fear and dread among many players. When the opponent brought him on during a deficit, one could usually quickly say goodbye to that lead.
This will undoubtedly worsen with his 95 TOTS card. Because there are substantial boosts that make this card even more dangerous:
- Speed: 84 -> 87
- Shooting: 94 -> 97
- Dribbling: 91 -> 95
- Physical: 92 -> 95
The EFL TOTS
The English 2nd league is also involved: Surprisingly, EA is releasing the TOTS team of the English 2nd league just like last year, the EFL TOTS.
Weekly Challenges and SBCs
Weekly Challenges: With the current weekly challenges, you can unlock the TOTS cards of Rodri (88), Onana (88), and Taylor (81).
- Rodri: Score in 6 separate Rivals victories with Spaniards
- Onana: Assist in Squad Battles with Eredivisie players for 8 goals
- Taylor: Score in 4 separate matches with EFL League One players
Squad Building Challenge: An SBC for the TOTS card of Sissoko will follow during the week. However, there is already an SBC for Odegaard:

How to get the new TOTS cards
From packs: You have a chance to get TOTS cards in the following packs:
- Gold Pack (5,000 coins)
- Premium Gold Pack (7,500 coins)
- or from other special and promo packs
Keep in mind that the probability of packing TOTS cards is really very low.
On the transfer market: It is therefore wiser to search for your desired TOTS players on the transfer market. However, the prices here, especially at the beginning of the TOTS event, are quite high.
Waiting a bit can therefore be worthwhile, as even TOTS cards will drop in price significantly over the course of the event.
What is the Team of the Season exactly?
What happens at the event: For many FUT players, the Team of the Season (TOTS) is the biggest and most important event in FIFA Ultimate Team. A large number of players receive particularly significantly upgraded, blue special cards during this time.
Over 200 special cards are expected: That is also the reason for the great anticipation among FUT players, as during the TOTS event, a new team with 23 players will be released each week. The number of new, extremely strong TOTS cards is thus huge. During the TOTY event (Team of the Year) there was only one team with 11 very strong TOTY cards.
This is how strong the TOTS cards are: For top stars of the big leagues, it can reach ratings in the high 90s for the Team of the Season. In general, upgrades of 6-10 points are not uncommon.
Otherwise, the TOTS cards behave like Inform cards. As long as a TOTS team is active, the TOTS versions replace the normal Gold cards.
