- The young top talents in the career of FIFA 19 are here.
The FIFA 19 beta is in full swing: Currently, the beta of FIFA 19 is running, which only a few selected individuals can participate in. The beta testers are actually not allowed to talk about the contents of the beta or release gameplay material, but some information is currently leaking.
We have already reported on the leaked and limited updates in the Pro Clubs mode of FIFA 19.
Now there are fresh leaks about the career mode.
What new features does the career mode have according to the leaks?
The YouTuber DailySquadStacker has taken and published several screenshots of the career mode from the beta. The first image shows the new menu:
The background of the menu displays the Champions League logo and is designed in the blue-purple colors of this competition. Otherwise, there are no major surprises. You can either play the matches yourself or simulate them, view the results, and switch to the team, transfers, office, or season overview in the upper bar.
Notably, the coach is prominently visible on the right side of the image. This aligns with information that circulated as rumors a few weeks ago: The coach is supposed to gain importance in the FIFA 19 career. You should be able to customize the appearance of the coaches and hold press conferences with them.
Another leaked screenshot shows the news center, where there are breaking news, world news, club news, and transfer news:
In the world news, the results of the Champions League draw are announced. The background is again designed in the colors of this competition. The question arises as to whether the CL background will always be displayed in the career mode – because if you start with a third division club, this design would not necessarily fit.
Here is a leak about an interesting new feature, the game plans:
The game plans are presets regarding formations, positions, tactics, and player instructions. You can set these before a match and apply them during the game without having to pause the game. Thus, you can fundamentally change your tactics during a match.
Finally, this screenshot was released, showing several settings such as match difficulty, length, currency, and activation of European competitions and transfer windows:
What else is known about the career mode?
The official reveal of the career mode is expected during Gamescom 2018.
Update: However, it has only been revealed that there will be virtually no changes in the career.
Officially, it is only known that the Champions League will play a significant role in the career – which aligns with the earlier leaks. According to Creative Director Matthew Prior, the career mode is supposed to be more authentic than ever, featuring a new user interface and new cinematics.
