Do you want a detailed explanation? Below, we briefly summarize Division Rivals. Further down, you will find detailed information and a precise explanation of how the new mode works.
Schedule and Process of Division Rivals
Start and Duration of a Competition: A competition lasts a week. The start and end of a phase is always on Thursday at 8 AM.
The Placement Matches: If you are playing Division Rivals for the first time, you need to complete 5 ranking matches. Depending on the results of these matches, you will be placed in one of the 10 divisions – or leagues.
Ranking and Promoting in Divisions: You now play matches against players from your division. After each game, you will receive more or fewer skill points, week points, and FUT Champions points, depending on the outcome.
- Skill Points: Your skill rating determines your division. You only receive a few skill points per game and thus only slowly climb up or down the leagues.
- Week Points: For each game, you receive week points. With these, you climb the 5 reward ranks and obtain better rewards.
- FUT Champions Points: You also receive these after each match. You need them for qualification for the Weekend League and receive more as your division level increases.
When are the rewards available?
When are the Division Rivals rewards available? 10 minutes after the end of a competition week, the rewards can be claimed. This means every Thursday starting around 8:10 AM.
Can I choose my rewards? Partially. In most ranks, you can choose from 3 rewards, which are partially untradeable. However, the number of FUT Champions points is always the same.

Information about Division Rivals in FIFA 19
Even though the principle is similar to Squad Battles, there are many things that are not immediately clear in Division Rivals. Therefore, we explain everything regarding the weekly competitions, the divisions, and the FUT Champions qualification in more detail.
Skill Points and Divisions
You start in a mid-tier league: In the 5 qualification matches, it is only very difficult to be placed higher than Division 4. Below are the skill point limits of the individual leagues. Additionally, the factor for FUT Champions points is different in each league.
| Division | Skill Points | FUT Champions Factor |
| 1 | 2400 | 25 |
| 2 | 2200 | 12.5 |
| 3 | 1900 | 6.2 |
| 4 | 1600 | 4 |
| 5 | 1200 | 3.2 |
| 6 | 800 | 2.5 |
| 7 | 500 | 2 |
| 8 | 250 | 1.5 |
| 9 | 100 | 1.2 |
| 10 | 0 | 1 |
Every Match awards Skill Points: After every match that you do not lose, you earn skill points. If you rank up, you will start the next weekly competition in the higher division and can snag better prizes.
You can also be relegated: Relegations are also possible, however, the limits are shifted. If you lose too many skill points due to losses, you might drop from Division 5 to Division 6 with 1100 points.
Weekly Points, Ranks, and Rewards
Ranks 1-5 are dynamic: You have 5 ranks in each division. However, the number of points required for each rank changes within a week. Therefore, you can also drop ranks!
- Rank 1: 15% of players in the competition
- Rank 2: 40% of players in the competition
- Rank 3: 80% of players in the competition
- Rank 4: 97% of players in the competition
- Rank 5: 100% of players in the competition
Victories yield more weekly points: The higher you win, the more points you earn. Draws or losses yield fewer points.
