In FIFA 19 Ultimate Team, there will be Champions League cards for the first time. We will show you what they look like in FUT 19 here.
The Champions League also features in FUT 19: One of the biggest innovations in FIFA 19 is the Champions League license. In recent years, the rights to the highest European cup competition were exclusively with Pro Evolution Soccer. This year, EA Sports was able to secure the license.
This means that the Champions League and the Europa League will be present in almost all modes of FIFA 19, such as in the Career Mode, in The Journey 3 – and also in Ultimate Team.

What is known so far about the Champions League in FUT 19? According to EA Sports, you can
- create your desired team from Champions League cards in FUT 19,
- utilize live content updates for the UEFA Champions League and the Europa League
- and experience the “Champions League” feeling in FUT 19 as well.
No concrete information is available yet. However, the first images of Champions League cards in FUT 19 have been revealed recently.
Be aware that the ratings on the cards come from FUT 18 and will still change by the release of FIFA 19. However, the card design is already final:
EA Sports emphasizes that these cards feature the Champions League branding and are meant to convey the CL atmosphere. They are designed in the blue-purple colors of the Champions League and display the CL logo at the top center.
It is notable that the Champions League cards of Rashford, Ederson, Lewandowski, and Isco differ from each other. The reason they have different designs is unknown to us. Perhaps it relates to the overall rating or the phase when they are released.
The card of Kanté, by the way, is a “Europa League” card. This can be recognized by the Europa League symbol at the top center and the black design with an orange border.

When and how the Champions League cards will be available in FUT 19 is not known. They are expected to be released in parallel with the “real” Champions League season in FUT 19.

Were there really no Champions League cards in FUT 18? Yes, EA was not allowed to mention the term “Champions League” in FUT 18. Instead, there were other cards, namely the “European Team of the Tournaments” cards. They referred to these CL cards with a cumbersome term.
