EA Sports breaks the silence: As multiple media outlets report, EA Sports has revealed the release date of the FIFA 19 demo in a press release.
When is the release date of the demo? Officially, it starts on September 13th. That is a Thursday.
At what time can I start? The exact time is not yet known. Looking back at previous years, the demo went live around 7 PM.

Further information is pending: EA Sports has only announced that there will be a demo for FIFA 19 and that it will start on September 13th. All remaining information about which modes and teams will be playable is still missing. The supported platforms are not officially known yet.
Which teams and game modes can be expected in the demo?
In recent years, EA Sports only discussed the contents of the demo shortly before the launch. It will likely be the same this year.
However, there have already been leaks regarding the demo that showed the playable teams and modes. Keep in mind that the following information is not official.

Possible modes in the demo
These modes are expected to be available:
The Champions League is certainly represented in the demo: This competition is considered one of the biggest innovations in FIFA 19, which runs throughout the entire game. EA Sports will certainly provide a taste of the CL mode in the demo.
What about the story mode “The Journey”? You will likely be able to play a match and experience one to two cutscenes in the demo. The story mode was also present in the demo versions of the past two years and could be played in early demos.
FIFA 19 Demo – Download for PS4, Xbox One, PC – also Nintendo Switch?
On which platforms will the demo be released? It will certainly be released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC (Origin). It will not be released on PS3 or Xbox 360. There is no information available regarding the Switch version, but it is also likely not to be released.
How does the download and installation process work? Upon the release of the FIFA 19 demo, you will find the demo versions in the respective stores, namely the PlayStation Store and the Xbox Store. The PC download will be via Origin. The demo is free.
