Pack opening is part of FUT 19: Especially at the start of the new FUT season, you should manage your scarce coins wisely and invest them in good players to improve your team. However, the thrill of FUT is also to try your luck with packs: “Maybe this set finally has Messi in it!”
Tips before you open packs:
- Many packs can be purchased with coins or FIFA Points. FIFA Points are a currency that can only be bought with real money.
- If you are willing to invest additional money in FUT 19, you should initially buy packs only with FIFA Points. Because you will need your coins to bid on players in the transfer market to upgrade your team.
- Only when you have a powerful team should you try to test your luck with opening sets using coins. Because packs are often a losing investment.

The expensive sets are the best: It is not surprising that you get the most for your money when you spend many coins and buy the most expensive sets. However, keep in mind that you have no guarantee of top players. In these packs, only the “coins per rare gold player” value is the best.
Rare gold players for TOTW cards: If you want players from the Team of the Week, you must buy sets that can contain rare gold players. However, the chances of getting TOTW players are low.
Are there really “best sets”? Most FUT players want rare gold players who have top attributes and fetch high amounts on the transfer market. These recommendations for packs are meant for these users. However, if you want to build a bronze team, bronze packs are recommended for you.

The packs in FIFA 19 Ultimate Team can be divided into 3 categories:
- Standard Sets: These are always available; you can buy and open them anytime.
- Promo Packs: These are only available in the shop during certain events.
- “Free Packs”: These cannot be purchased. You receive them either as a gift or as a reward.

- A player with a rating of 45+ is included 100% of the time, a player with 60+ is included 87% of the time, and a player with 63+ is included 41% of the time.
Premium Bronze Pack:
- 12 Bronze cards, players and consumables, 3 rare
- 750 coins
- A player with a rating of 45+ is included 100% of the time, a player with 60+ is included 92% of the time, and a player with 63+ is included 58% of the time.
Silver Pack:
- 12 Silver cards, players and consumables, 1 rare
- 2500 coins
- A player with a rating of 65+ is included 100% of the time, a player with 70+ is included 62% of the time, and a player with 73+ is included 12% of the time.
Premium Silver Pack:
- 12 Silver cards, players and consumables, 3 rare
- 3750 coins
- A player with a rating of 65+ is included 100% of the time, a player with 70+ is included 72% of the time, and a player with 73+ is included 24% of the time.
Gold Pack:
- 12 Gold items, players and consumables, 1 rare
- 5000 coins
- A player with a rating of 75+ is included 100% of the time, a player with 82+ is included 9.1% of the time, and a player with 83+ is included 3.6% of the time.
Premium Gold Pack:
- 12 Gold items, players and consumables, 3 rare
- 7500 coins
- A player with a rating of 75+ is included 100% of the time, a player with 82+ is included 20% of the time, and a player with 83+ is included 4.8% of the time.
The probabilities: The pack probabilities for players of specific ratings are dynamically generated and change over time. The specified chances refer to September 26, 2018.

- Bronze players have a maximum rating of 64,
- silver players range between 65 and 74,
- and gold players have 75+
