The Gamescom 2018: From August 21 to 25, the world’s largest gaming event – Gamescom – will take place in Cologne. This year, over 400,000 visitors, more than 5,000 journalists, and exhibitors from over 50 countries are expected. The motto is “The Heart of Gaming”.
For a decade, the Gamescom has been traditionally used by publishers and game developers as a platform to showcase their latest products and introduce them to a wide audience. Enthusiastic gaming visitors can try out the upcoming games at countless booths and get a first impression of them.
EA Sports will not miss the opportunity to promote its upcoming football simulation at Gamescom in 2018. There will definitely be new information about FIFA 19 at this event.
News about FIFA 19 at Gamescom
What information about FIFA 19 will be revealed at Gamescom 2018? In mid-July, we interviewed Samuel Rivera, the gameplay producer of FIFA, about Career Mode and Pro Clubs in FIFA 19. He was not allowed to disclose any information about these modes yet, but he revealed to us that we will learn more about them at Gamescom.
We expect news on these FIFA 19 topics:
- Career Mode will likely be presented – First leaks about the career have already emerged
- Pro Clubs will likely be presented – This mode reportedly receives very few new features according to beta leaks
- A new trailer will likely be released – We strongly expect a Gamescom trailer for FIFA 19
- New features from The Journey 3 may be revealed – So far, we only know that Alex Hunter is heading to Real Madrid
- Additional licenses may be announced – All stadiums in FIFA 19 and all leagues in FIFA 19, that we know so far, can be found in the links
When will the FIFA 19 information be revealed? On Tuesday, August 21, it is the professional visitor and media day of Gamescom. The information is expected to be revealed in the form of a livestream. We will report on it.
When and where can visitors try FIFA 19? From August 22 to 25, Gamescom will be open to private visitors. The EA booths are located in Hall 6 – at over 300 booths, you should be able to play FIFA 19. In Hall 9, Nintendo has also set up, where you can play FIFA 19 on the Switch.
