Following the Team of the Season for the Bundesliga last week, on Friday, May 25 at 7 PM, the TDS of Serie A and Ligue 1 will be released.
Four days before the World Cup mode, there will be new cards: They will be available in packs for one week.
A lot of players will receive highly upgraded blue special cards during the “Team of the Season” period. The selection will be based on league performances in the 2017/2018 season. We present to you the predictions for the “Team of the Season” of the Italian top league.
FUT 18 – Predictions for Serie A TOTS in Ultimate Team
Which Serie A players will be in the Team of the Season? The official team will only be revealed shortly before release, however, major FIFA sites are already making their predictions on which players deserve a spot in the TOTS of the Italian upper league.
These predictions will not exactly match EA’s Serie A TOTS, but they provide a good overview of which players could be included.

What is the “Team of the Season” actually?
The “Team of the Season” (TDS) – better known as “Team of the Season” (TOTS) – is for most FIFA gamers the biggest event in Ultimate Team. A lot of players receive a highly upgraded blue special card during this time.
Over 200 player cards will likely receive a TOTS version in FUT 18. The reason for this is that many teams are released, all containing 23 players – whereas for the “Team of the Year” (TOTY), it is just a single 11-man selection.
The ratings of players usually increase by 5 to 9 points – for the top stars of the major leagues, this could lead to ratings in the high 90s. The basis for the selection is performance in the 2017/2018 season – for the TOTY, however, the entire calendar year 2017 was used for evaluation.
Otherwise, TOTS cards behave like informs: If you don’t want to wait until you pull a card from packs, you can acquire them on the transfer market. The normal gold versions of the players will not be available during that time.
