On April 27, the “Team of the Season” event starts in FIFA 18 Ultimate Team. With the “Team of the Year”, the TOTS is the most important promotion in FUT.
Many players will receive highly upgraded, blue special cards. The selection is based on league performances in the 2017/2018 season, with all top leagues and many smaller leagues receiving their own “Team of the Season”.
The “Team of the Season” release of the Premier League is on May 4, after the Community and EFL TOTS. The team will be announced at 4 PM and will be available in packs from 7 PM for a week.

What is the “Team of the Season” actually about?
The “Team of the Season” (TDS) – or better known as “Team of the Season” (TOTS) – is for most FIFA gamers the biggest event in Ultimate Team. Many players receive a highly upgraded, blue special card during this time.
Over 200 player cards will likely receive a TOTS version in FUT 18. The reason for this is that many teams are released, all containing 23 players – while the “Team of the Year” (TOTY) has only a single 11-man selection.
The rating of players usually increases by 5 to 9 points – for the top stars of the big leagues, ratings in the high 90s are common. The basis for the selection is performance in the 2017/2018 season – while for the TOTY, the entire calendar year 2017 was taken into account.
Otherwise, TOTS cards behave like informs: If you do not want to wait until you draw a card from packs, you can buy them on the transfer market. The regular gold versions of players will not be available during this time.
