On Friday, May 25, the FIFA 18 Ultimate Team released the Team of the Season for Ligue 1. This player made it into the “Ligue 1” TDS.
As the TOTS comes to an end, the next big FIFA event starts on Tuesday, May 29: The World Championship! A new trailer already reveals some information. In FUT 18, most major leagues have already received their Team of the Season.
On Friday at 7 PM, alongside the TOTS of the French Ligue 1, the one for Italian Serie A was also released.
This will be the Team of the Season for Ligue 1
A total of 24 players from the French top league receive a “Team of the Season” card. 23 of them can be pulled from packs starting at 7 PM. Number 24 will be available through the Daily Knockout Tournament (DKT) starting Wednesday, May 30.
Included in the Ligue 1 TDS are of course Neymar, Edinson Cavani, and Kylian Mbappe. Memphis Depay also makes it after a strong second half of the season.
The guaranteed TOTS SBCs come on Sunday, May 27, and Tuesday, May 29, each at 7 PM.

What is the “Team of the Season” actually?
The “Team of the Season” (TDS) – or better known as the “Team of the Season” (TOTS) – is for most FIFA gamers the biggest event in Ultimate Team. Many players receive a highly upgraded blue special card during this time.
Over 200 player cards will probably get a TOTS version in FUT 18. The reason is that many teams are published, each containing 23 players. In the “Team of the Year” (TOTY), however, it is only a single selection of 11 players.
The ratings of the players usually increase by 5 to 9 points. For the top stars of the major leagues, ratings in the high 90s can be expected. The basis for the selection is performance during the 2017/2018 season – while the TOTY evaluated the entire calendar year of 2017.
Otherwise, TOTS cards behave like informs: If you don’t want to wait to pull a card from packs, you can buy them on the transfer market. The normal gold versions of players are not available during this time.
Alongside the Ligue 1 TDS, also at 7 PM 10 additional “Rest of the World” players will be released – however, these cannot be pulled from packs!
