In FIFA 18, the first TOTS are known. The “Team of the Season” event starts with the Community and EFL TDS.
On Friday, April 27 at 7 PM, the “Team of the Season” phase begins and will last until June 4. During this time, many players will receive significantly upgraded TDS cards.
The first two TOTS are the fan-voted Community (or Most Consistent) TOTS and the second English league (EFL). From now on, you can draw the 46 blue special cards from packs for one week.

What is the “Team of the Season” exactly?
The “Team of the Season” (TDS) – better known as the “Team of the Season” (TOTS) – is the biggest event in Ultimate Team for most FIFA gamers. During this time, many players receive a significantly improved blue special card.
Over 200 player cards will likely receive a TOTS version in FUT 18. The reason for this is that many teams are released, all containing 23 players – in contrast to the “Team of the Year” (TOTY), which consists of just one 11-man selection.
The ratings of the players usually increase by 5 to 9 points – for the top stars of the big leagues, ratings in the high 90s can be expected. The basis for selection is the performance in the 2017/2018 season – whereas for the TOTY, the entire calendar year 2017 was considered for assessment.
Otherwise, TOTS cards behave like informs: If you don’t want to wait until you draw a card from packs, you can purchase them on the transfer market. The normal gold versions of the players are not available for drawing during this time.
