The football season 2017/2018 is slowly but surely coming to an end. Therefore, on April 27 in FIFA 18 Ultimate Team, the “Team of the Season” event begins.
The TDS of the Bundesliga is currently expected for May 18. It would then follow the TOTS of LaLiga. After release, the cards will be available in packs for one week.

What is the “Team of the Season” exactly?
The “Team of the Season” (TDS) – or better known as “Team of the Season” (TOTS) – is for most FIFA gamers the biggest event in Ultimate Team. Many players receive a significantly upgraded blue special card during this time.
Over 400 player cards will likely receive a TOTS version in FUT 18. The reason is that many teams will be released, all containing 23 players – in contrast to the “Team of the Year” (TOTY), which only has a single 11-player selection.
The ratings of the players usually increase by 5 to 9 points – for the top stars of the major leagues, ratings in the high 90s can occur. The basis for the selection is the performance during the 2017/2018 season – while for the TOTY, the entire calendar year 2017 was taken into account.
While the major top leagues are usually available for a week in sets, the smaller leagues often only appear in packs for three days.
Otherwise, the TOTS cards behave like informs: If you don’t want to wait until you draw a card from sets, you can purchase them on the transfer market. The regular gold versions of the players are not available to draw during this time.
