In FIFA 18 Ultimate Team, the TOTGS (Team of the Group Stage) is known. These players receive top cards in FUT 18, as they excelled in the group stage of European tournaments.
In FIFA 18’s Ultimate Team mode, it gets colorful: Starting today, new cards are coming into play, with which you can strengthen your teams: The TOTGS players. You can recognize these cards by the white-blue design.
The TOTGS officially stands for “European Team of the Tournaments Group Stage.” However, since this term is quite cumbersome, the team is commonly abbreviated to TOTGS. In German, it is, by the way, the “Europe Team of the Tournaments Group Stage.”

What is the TOTGS and how do I get the player cards?
Recently, the group stage of the European football cup competitions (Champions League, Europa League) came to an end. EA Sports takes this as an opportunity to release new player cards that include the best players from the group stage. These are to have shown outstanding performances in the matches.
Included are top players like Cristiano Ronaldo (95), Neymar (93), Hazard (92), or De Bruyne (91). From the German perspective, Kimmich (87) and Ter Stegen (also 87) are included. Compared to standard cards, the TOTGS cards are only slightly better in the overall rating.
You can get the “European Team of the Tournaments Group Stage” players by opening packs and bringing a lot of luck or acquiring them on the transfer market and bringing many coins. They are available in the sets from December 8th at 7 PM until December 13th at 7 PM.
