The next title update for FIFA 18 is already available for download and installation on PC. PS4 and Xbox One will follow later. On consoles, it should be update 1.07. These are the patch notes.
In recent days, the #FixFIFA movement has spread like wildfire on social media. The community has united in urging EA Sports to finally improve FIFA 18 and resolve annoying bugs.
Exactly one week ago, on November 23rd, EA Sports responded. They wanted to become more transparent. At the same time, they released a title update for PC, which is now also available on consoles.
Today, on November 30th, EA Sports is following up. The next title update has now been released on PC and will also be available on PS4 and Xbox One in the coming days.
Patch Notes – Title Update 1.07
The patch notes are currently only available in English, we will translate the updates into German.
Gameplay Adjustments
- If a goalkeeper scored a goal, it could cause a freeze during the celebration. This has now been fixed.
- If a goalkeeper scored a goal, it was possible for the goal celebration to be skipped.
- If you press the sprint button, the goalkeeper can immediately get up when lying on the ground holding the ball.
- In a skill game, the player sometimes had control over the wrong player.
- If you repeatedly performed the “Juggle Skill Move” in the practice arena, it could cause the player to disappear.
- The default coach settings at the intro match have been adjusted.
Pro Clubs
- In Pro Clubs, there was an issue in some situations where captains (or players who had just been captains) experienced disconnections when inviting another club for a friendly match.
Ultimate Team
- Replays in the FUT Champions Channel can now be viewed at slow speed (0.5x).
- The single-player camera has been removed in the FUT Champions Channel, as well as the restart button in the pause menu, which was not functioning.
- The FIWC Stadium has been renamed to FeWC Stadium.
Additionally, the 2D portraits for some players have been adjusted, and several bug fixes, especially in the FUT Champions Channel, have been made. You can find the complete patch notes in the FIFAFORUM.
