A new story trailer for FIFA 18 has been released for The Journey: Hunter Returns. It features Alex Hunter in the Bayern Munich jersey – along with Thomas Müller.
In FIFA 18, Alex Hunter is going out into the world! Hunter is the protagonist of “The Journey,” the story mode that was first introduced with FIFA 17. In FIFA 17, he made a splash in the Premier League, and in the sequel “The Journey: Hunter Returns,” Hunter aims to shine in new leagues.
According to EA Sports, in the second season, you can transfer Alex Hunter to some of the biggest clubs in the world, such as Bayern Munich, PSG, Atletico Madrid, or LA Galaxy. Some stars from these clubs can be seen in a new trailer that EA Sports released today, on September 1.

What is new in The Journey: Hunter Returns?
EA Sports advertises these new features for the sequel of The Journey in FIFA 18:
- A star-studded lineup featuring Cristiano Ronaldo, Antoine Griezmann, Thierry Henry, Dele Alli, Rio Ferdinand, Thomas Müller, James Harden, and more.
- There is more to do: Chapter-based, short-term objectives. Hunter can play for various trophies in the top leagues of the world.
- More important decisions: Your choices carry more weight in the story than in FIFA 17. They determine Alex’s career as well as his relationships with other characters on and off the pitch.
- New playable characters: Alex encounters various characters on his journey. Some of them have standalone, short stories that you can experience.
- Customizable Alex Hunter: You can now personalize his appearance. Choose his hair, tattoos, and clothing. You can also select his strong foot.
- Co-op with friends: There is a local multiplayer mode.
- Travel the football world: Street football in Brazil, a preparation tour through Los Angeles, and more from the football world are featured in the sequel of The Journey.
We will probably see more about The Journey: Hunter Returns in the FIFA 18 demo.
