Last year, among the FUT innovations of FIFA 17, the “Stars in Focus” were mostly called “Ones to Watch” in the German-speaking community. In FUT 18, the OTW cards make a comeback – with prominent representatives!
The Brazilian superstar Neymar, who transferred from FC Barcelona to PSG this summer for an incredible 222 million fee, receives an OTW card. This card is likely to be one of the most sought-after items in the early days of FIFA 18.

What are the Ones to Watch in FUT 18? – Release, Info
The Ones to Watch in FUT 18 start on September 29, 2017. This is also the official worldwide release date of FIFA 18.
The OTW cards are only available in packs for a limited time. You can obtain them from sets until October 9. Afterwards, it is only possible to buy them on the transfer market.
The “Ones to Watch” only include players who changed clubs in the summer. The “best transfers” are listed here.
The special thing about the OTW cards: They are dynamic cards. Every time an OTW player receives a TOTW card or another special card, their OTW card automatically adjusts to that card and remains at the higher rating.
In other words: The better the player performs in real football (and thus receives a special card from EA Sports), the better your OTW card will be throughout the season. There will then be a form boost that corresponds to the latest ratings.
If a player changes clubs during the new season, nothing happens to the OTW card at first. Only when the player receives a TOTW card in their new club will the OTW card be updated. However, the position of the OTW card always remains the same.
