- In FUT 18, the Lunar New Year event starts on Friday, February 16 at 7:00 PM German time.
In FIFA 17, the event lasted for three days. So it will also be in FIFA 18: It ends on Monday, February 19.
The Features of the Lunar New Year Event

You will receive a gift upon login, which depends on how many days you have logged into FUT since the game launch. Here are the tiers and rewards:

Philipp says: Due to the variety of packs opened during the event, the availability of top players will increase. Many will sell their players to open packs with coins. These factors will likely lead to another market crash after the “Team of the Year” event.
If you plan to improve your team soon, it’s best to wait to buy players until Sunday evening or Monday morning. Also, try not to invest all your coins in reduced packs. Even if the offers look tempting – in most cases, you will still make a loss. If you want better players for your team, invest the coins directly in the players.
