In FIFA 18, there is a trick (glitch) to efficiently receive the loyalty bonus without ruining your multiplier in FUT 18.
Chemistry is the most complicated aspect of the “Ultimate Team” mode in FIFA 18. You can find all information about team and player chemistry and how to calculate it in this guide. Additionally, the loyalty of your players affects chemistry.
In some Squad Building Challenges, “loyal” players are a requirement, while in others, you need to rely on the loyalty bonus to achieve the required team chemistry. There are only two ways for players to become loyal:
- You get them from packs. Then they are loyal immediately.
- Or you complete 10 matches with players that you acquire on the transfer market.
Only after a purchased player has played 10 matches in your team will he become loyal and receive an extra point for chemistry.
However, it takes a few hours to complete 10 matches. A significant time investment for cards that you only want to exchange to claim the SBC rewards. Is there no faster way?
Loyalty Bonus in Minutes and Without Defeat in FUT 18
Yes, there is a way to quickly gain loyalty. This is described in the community as a “glitch” or celebrated as a “trick.” Whether you want to use this method is up to you to decide.
The basic idea is to start a match with the team consisting of the corresponding players – and to quit shortly after kickoff. You do this 10 times, and within a short time, you have completed 10 matches with the players and obtained the loyalty bonus. However, this comes with a significant disadvantage: the multiplier, which significantly affects the coin gain after matches, drops drastically. It takes several matches and many hours to raise this again. So, it’s really not worth it.
However, there is a method to avoid defeats and the drop in the multiplier:
- You go to the “Team of the Week” in single-player mode.
- You challenge it at any difficulty (for example, Semi-Pro) with the corresponding player team.
- Now, wait for the kickoff and play for a few seconds.
- Now, instead of quitting the game in-game, directly exit FIFA 18. For example, on the PS4, you press the PS button and close the application.
Now, repeat this until your players have the loyalty bonus after 10 matches. This trick takes a total of 20-30 minutes, but it will not register any defeats for you – and it is still significantly faster than playing all 10 matches in full length.
Note: Contracts will be consumed. You need to supply the players with contracts, as they only come with 7 by default.
