Today, on December 20th, there are issues with the servers for FIFA 17. The player search in FUT 17 is not working.
Currently, in the late afternoon of December 20th, matchmaking in FUT 17 is disabled. You can connect to the EA servers, but you receive the message: “Joining a match is temporarily disabled.”
Users on reddit report that all platforms are affected – PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
We currently have no information from EA Sports on when the issue will be resolved. However, in the past, this kind of disruption was usually fixed quickly.
Update: EA Sports has spoken out: Emergency maintenance is taking place, so the player search is not functioning.
