In FIFA 17, we present the key combinations for all special moves on PS4 and PS3. How do the 5-star tricks work?

In FIFA 17, there are countless ways to create scoring opportunities or maintain ball possession. One tried-and-true method is strong passing to keep the ball and the opponent moving and to create gaps in the opponent’s defense.

If you have players with high skills on your team, you can dizzy opponents and outsmart them with various special moves. However, this only works if you know exactly which buttons to press.

In the following, we present the key combinations for all tricks in FIFA 17. Currently, we only have those for PS4 and PS3, but the special moves on Xbox should also be executable with the respective button equivalents.

5-Star Tricks – Only a Few Players Can Execute Them

To perform certain special moves, your players need specific requirements. This is based on a star rating unit: The more stars a virtual footballer has, the more – and better – tricks he can perform. One star is the minimum, and five stars are the maximum.

These are the 1-Star Tricks

With just one star, almost no tricks can be performed. You can only keep the ball in the air and perform a standing foot feint.

Juggling Tricks:

Notes:

• An arrow pointing up means that you need to push in the direction of movement. Accordingly, you need to move the right or left stick in the respective game situation.
• Hold means you need to keep the stick pressed in the direction for a certain time.
• Flick means to briefly press in the direction, then return the stick to its starting position.
• Some special moves can only be executed while standing, such as the juggling tricks.
