In FIFA 17 suddenly Movember cards appear. These are light brown player cards in the Ultimate Team mode that currently provide certain players with better stats. The FUT cards are supposed to be available throughout November. But what is all the fuss about?
The fuss serves a good cause: EA Sports has teamed up with the Movember Foundation, which advocates for men’s health. In addition to a donation of $200,000, the gaming giant also utilizes its game portfolio to raise awareness. Therefore, special FUT cards appear in FIFA 17, charity streams are organized, and so forth. Below, we show you the affected player cards in detail.

Hot off the press: FIFA 17: TOTW 7 – The Team of the Week from November 2 to November 9 in FUT 17
What does Movember stand for? Behind “Movember” is the Movember Foundation, which organizes campaigns and collects donations during the month of November – focusing on health-promoting measures aimed at preventing typical men’s diseases (including testicular or prostate cancer). With proper preventive care, the risk can ultimately be significantly reduced. However, it must first be possible to talk openly about it, as men often prefer to keep silent about their illnesses rather than show “weakness.” These issues are addressed and it is also quite successful, being one of the most significant non-governmental funders for prostate cancer prevention. For this year’s Movember 2016, the mustache was chosen as a symbolic representative, which is explained in the video.
