The Team of the Year in FIFA 16 FUT is set. But what would a team look like that was chosen only by German football professionals?
FIFPro has just published the World XI voting results from players of various countries. EA Sports does not determine the TOTY itself. These players are elected by the football players themselves into the FIFPro World XI. 26,478 players from 68 different countries participated.
So Germany individually considered the following players for the XI:
In attack, Lewandowski takes the place of Neymar. In midfield, Toni Kroos takes the role of Luka Modric. The biggest differences to the official World XI of the year can be seen in defense: Alaba, Boateng, and Lahm move into the team ‒ only Sergio Ramos remains in the squad. In the official Team of the Year, the goalkeeper and defenders are already available in packs. Alaba, Boateng, and Lahm are not included, but Marcelo, Thiago Silva, and Dani Alves are.
How much are the TOTY players traded for on the transfer market?
In the last few hours, packs have been eagerly opened in FIFA 16: FUT and some players from the TOTY have been drawn. Unfortunately, not every gamer is lucky enough to snag one of the coveted cards. There is no other option but to buy the object of desire on the transfer market ‒ if you can afford it.
Let’s take a look at the current transfer market prices:
- Manuel Neuer: he ranks around 900,000 coins on PS4, around 740,000 on Xbox One.
- Marcelo: is the “cheapest” of all five cards. He costs around 500,000 coins on PS4, 400,000 on Xbox.
- Sergio Ramos: you have to pay a decent price for him. Up to 1,000,000 coins on PS4, 800,000 on Xbox. However, he has also been bought significantly cheaper on both consoles.
- Thiago Silva: he ranks around 550,000 coins.
- Dani Alves currently has a value in FIFA 16 of nearly 650,000 coins.
These numbers refer to the buy-it-now price. If you want to bid with other players, the prices can be significantly lower.
