In Black Desert Online (PC), you will soon get a new companion. The cute fairy Laila is not only adorable, but she also has a number of extremely useful skills! She can even revive you.
The fairy princess Laila is set to be introduced as a new companion in the game. She has now been revealed for the version in Korea.
Laila is not a cash shop companion but can be obtained through a multi-part quest series in the game. You will then receive a fairy with a random power level.
You can repeat the quest and get different fairies. You can only have one fairy at a time. When you register a new one, the old fairy leaves you, and you receive fairy dust. The fairy can talk to you and is said to have her own will and opinion.
Fairy Lantern or No-Consequences Revival?
The fairy is not only a nice companion, she can also learn and use skills:
- Tickling Breath: You can hold your breath longer underwater
- Feather Steps: You can carry more before you become slower
- Fairy’s Tears: The fairy revives you instantly, and all without a death penalty. This skill has a cooldown of between 24 and 6 hours.
- Eternal Well: You automatically drink tea or water when the desert debuff appears
- Morning Star: The fairy shines and illuminates the surroundings
- Cheer Up: You automatically drink a corresponding potion when your HP/WP/MP/SP are low.
These skills are already great, and the fairy is celebrated by many players. The fact that you don’t have to buy her for real money delights the fans even more. Currently, the mood in Black Desert is not so bright. There is growing dissatisfaction with some developments in the EU/NA version of the game. But more on that later.
When Laila, the fairy, will flutter to us here in Europe, is currently unknown.
The fairy is currently only available in Korea, but according to the developers, they are working on a global version of Black Desert Online!
