A new date for the early access phase
The wolves are coming! Due to player feedback, the development studio Vostok Games needed a bit more time to prepare the early access phase of Fear the Wolves. If you’re already nervous and want to try the battle royale battles, you’ll just have to wait a few more days.
As explained by the developers, the early access phase starts on August 28.
All issues resolved: According to the team, all issues that had previously prevented the launch of the early access have been fixed. Whether that’s really the case will be seen at launch. The developers are certainly confident.
New features announced: For early access, Vostok Games has also announced some new features. These include:
- A new map
- A new game mode
- Additional weapons
- New mutants
- Dynamic weather
PvE meets battle royale. Although Fear the Wolves will be a battle royale shooter, the principle will be spiced up with PvE elements. Therefore, you will not only have to defend yourself against other players on the maps, but also fight against gruesome wolf mutants that keep appearing and disrupting your strategies.
How this plays in the new version will be revealed on August 28 during the early access phase.
