That’s why fast players are important in FIFA 20: Pace has been a major topic in the FIFA community for years. In many FIFA installments, a player’s pace has been a game-changing factor. All you had to do was throw long balls forward, and the fast forwards would grab them and run away from everyone.

In FIFA 19, pace was no longer as dominant on the pitch. On the contrary: The supposed fastest players could hardly outrun the slower players.

In FIFA 20, the pace balance changes again. Pace is supposed to be more decisive. Therefore, it is worth putting swift players on the pitch. Let’s take a look at the fastest players that FIFA 20 has to offer in FUT.

What is pace exactly? This value shown on player cards in Ultimate Team indicates how fast a player is. Pace consists of the individual stats “acceleration” and “sprint speed” and plays an important role in team building for many fans.

What about Coman and Gnabry?

The two wingers from FC Bayern do not appear in the list of the fastest 25 players. In FIFA 19, both had high pace values over 90. Coman had a strong 94 and was among the fastest players overall, Gnabry had 91.

In FIFA 20, however, the pace values of both Bayern players decrease:

• Coman drops by 2 points to 92 pace in FIFA 20
• Gnabry drops by one point to 90 in FIFA 20

Therefore, while both still have strong pace values, they are not among the absolute top sprinters in FIFA 20. By the way, Coman is no longer a 5-star skiller.
