Boomer the Dog has been dedicated a very special Easter egg in Far Cry New Dawn. You can find it here.
This is Boomer: Boomer the dog was the most popular animal companion for a large part of the Far Cry 5 players. The loyal four-legged friend fetched you assault rifles and rocket launchers, but could also bite if you were in combat with enemies.
Many grew fond of Boomer in Far Cry 5 and were then even more disappointed when it was said that the dog would not be by your side in New Dawn. The newest installment of the series takes place about 17 years after Far Cry 5, and Boomer is now frolicking in doggy heaven.
Boomer as an Easter egg: However, in New Dawn, you do get to meet Boomer again in a way. You can find the Easter egg in the southwest of the map.
As Comicbook reports, you have to travel to the Fang Centre, which is located there. There is a church that has a secret passage beneath it.
At the end of this tunnel, there is a large gravestone. However, the name is covered by a piece of wood. If you shoot the piece of wood, it breaks, and the name reveals itself. This is Boomer’s grave.

So anyone who didn’t have the opportunity in Far Cry 5 can now say goodbye to the companion in New Dawn in peace.

New Dog in Far Cry New Dawn: While he is no replacement, there is another dog as part of New Dawn. Timber is also a good boy and not as stubborn as Boomer. Because Timber even gets in the car with you instead of just running outside all the time.
