Around One Piece there are numerous fan items like figures, cushions, or plush toys. Now the final antagonist of Luffy has also received its own plush toy – although we don’t even know how it looks.

Which opponent is being referred to? The top person at the helm of the World Government is still one of the greatest mysteries of One Piece. Imu is even above the Five Elders. They are immortal except for one member.
Imu’s true identity has yet to be revealed. The body of Luffy’s opponent is depicted through a black silhouette that stretches him oddly. Apart from Imu’s eyes, he is completely cloaked in black. Even the voice of the head of the World Government has been distorted for the anime, so that it cannot be determined whether Imu is male or female.
Although the identity remains a big secret, the team of One Piece has decided to release a large plush toy of Imu in Japan (via Animota). Fans especially love one detail of the plush toy.

How does the plush toy look? The plush toy is a 1-to-1 copy of Imu from the anime. It has retained its black silhouette and red eyes. Additionally, it wears a headpiece and has two arms.
One detail that fans are especially celebrating on X: Imu is holding Luffy’s wanted poster. In the anime, there is a scene where Imu looks at the poster while staring at a gigantic straw hat.

How is it received by fans? As pewpiece writes on X, the plush toy has become a hit within 24 hours because fans are showing it in everyday situations. Sometimes Imu is in a burger restaurant, sometimes he is peacefully lying in bed. Imu is also strapped in the car to make sure nothing happens to him.
Fans are particularly amused by the plush toy, as some comments show:
- Zestyst writes: ‘I love it, I need it, I want to have it.’
- Fiend1160 is excited about one thing: ‘The little arm holding Luffy’s wanted poster.’
- ZixSerro notes one detail: ‘What I like best about this plush is that it’s called “life-size” and is about one meter tall. This means Imu could actually be a tiny little guy.’
It is likely that in the coming days and weeks there will be more such funny pictures showing the Imu plush toy in everyday situations. So keep your eyes open for them!
