Thanks to Netflix, more and more actors are emerging, who we will see in Season 2 of the live-action adaptation of One Piece. In the past days, three actors have already been revealed, who will take on the roles of the anime characters. Today, a new and presumably final wave is expected.
Update (August 23, 2024, at 3:00 PM): Netflix has indeed revealed the actress for Vivi. Charithra Chandran will take on the role of the princess. This was announced on the official X account of the Netflix series for One Piece. The actress herself has since spoken out and is thrilled that Eiichiro Oda, the mangaka of One Piece, has entrusted her with the role of Vivi:
Original report: Which characters have already been revealed? In the last two days, the actors for Chopper’s mentors, Dr. Kuleha and Doc Bader, have been revealed. We also now know that King Cobra will be played by Sendhil Ramamurthy (via X).
As Eiichiro Oda, the One Piece mangaka, announced together with Netflix on the official account of the live-action adaptation, another announcement is expected today:
So far, a majority of all anime characters that will be featured in Season 2 of the Netflix series have been cast. However, some of the most popular characters, who will play significant roles in the upcoming arcs, are still unknown. Therefore, there is hope that today, on the last day, one of the most important characters will finally be revealed.

Vivi could finally be revealed today
Which characters could follow today? Since today is the last of the three days on which part of the cast for the Netflix series is being revealed, we expect that it could be a more popular character.
In recent days, Chopper and King Cobra have been revealed – they are the respective “family members” of Chopper and Vivi. Since many fans are curious about what the CGI animations for Chopper will look like, we assume that Netflix will delay the revelation of Chopper a bit longer.
Instead, we could imagine that Princess Vivi will finally be revealed today. She will even play an important role before the Alabasta arc and therefore will already hold a significant role in Season 2 of the live-action adaptation.
However, there could also be other roles that could be revealed today. We still do not know who will portray Sir Crocodile or Nico Robin. Although these two characters will make their bigger appearances in the Alabasta arc, they could still be a topic of conversation and therefore be seen earlier.
Nico Robin also briefly appears with the Straw Hat Pirates in a scene. Therefore, it might be possible that we will see her in action in Season 2 as well.
